Golf Tournament to Save Shelter Dogs for CARA

Ordinarily, I reserve this blog to talk about things related to divorce in North Carolina.  However, for those of you that don’t know me – I am a huge animal lover.  My wife and I have 3 dogs and 6 cats – three of which were “foster failures”.  Incidentally, we just found out this week that one of our cats, Molly, has Lymphoma and has just begun chemotherapy – but that is another story.

We have always been active supporters of our local animal shelter – and today I received an email about a golf tournament that is coming up to support Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption in Sanford.  Here are the details:

Its time to grab your clubs and join us for CARA’s Summer 2010 Golf Tournament!

WHEN:
Saturday June 19th, 2010
Check in will begin at 10:30
Shotgun Start at 12:30
Putting & Driving Clinics – 11am- noon

WHERE:
Quail Ridge Golf Course
5634 Quail Ridge Ln.
Sanford, NC

WHAT: Four Player Scramble Tournament with Prizes, Raffles, Games, Drinks, Food, and Fun

COST:  $50 per player:

Fee includes:

  • Green Fees & Cart Fees
  • Golf Clinic
  • Range Balls & Practice Facility
  • Lunch, Bottled Water & Snacks
  • Saving One Dog’s Life
