My wife abandoned me in July of last year. We’ve been through the mediation process, and now after a year has passed is filing for absolute divorce. Is this something that I do not have to sign off on due to religious reasons?

The divorce will be granted if you do nothing. I recommend that you see a lawyer to discuss the rights you will be giving up by doing nothing and allowing the divorce judgment to be entered.
