In North Carolina, you can get divorced at anytime. However, before you can seek a divorce, you must be separated for at least one year. Your husband's infidelity would have a bearing on whether or not he could be required to pay you alimony, however.
The Hart Law Firm, P.A. was originally founded in 2005 as a marital and family law firm in Orlando, Florida. We moved to North Carolina in 2010, and have continued to serve those families that are dealing with the hardships of separation and divorce.
